This is a remote position.

Our client is an established, yet burgeoning, SaaS platform focused on increasing convenient access to core corporate services with technology. Part of their product suite, is a time-tested solution that solves a fundamental gap in the marketing automation market. With tens of thousands of customers around the world, their users save time and reduce errors on routine tasks.

This role can be performed remotely across Canada, or a combination of both on-sight and remote.

What you’ll do:
• Structure and scale the DevOps and SRE functions within the company's cloud infrastructure (Azure).
• Assist in the architectural decision-making for our continued cloud platform growth.
• Architect and develop tools (console(s)) to provide automated reliability, performance and security monitoring for their production system(s).
• Conduct regular reviews of the security and resiliency of our systems and servers.
• Provide strategic guidance for the growth and development of our internal IT systems and services.
• Lead and grow the DevOps ideology.
• Coordinate resources, delivery timelines and release plans with their Product, Development and QA teams.

 

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to learn and work in a growth environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with outside vendors.
• Proven experience in both architecting and implementing monitoring of critical production systems for reliability, performance and security within Azure environments.
• Significant past work experience with responsibility for the deployment and reliability of critical, customer-facing production systems.
• Proven team-management experience: ability to hire and retain top talent, and the ability to coach and develop both individuals and teams.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytic skills.
