The MDG Group Leader will oversee and manage a team of consultants focused on implementing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions for their clients. This role is responsible for driving successful MDG projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and developing MDG expertise within the consulting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of MDG consultants, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management
• Oversee multiple concurrent MDG implementation projects for clients across industries
• Drive MDG solution design and architecture decisions aligned with client business requirements
• Conduct MDG requirements gathering workshops and translate client needs into comprehensive solutions
• Ensure MDG best practices and SAP standards are followed across projects
• Manage client relationships and serve as an escalation point for project issues
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and quality to ensure successful delivery
• Develop MDG implementation methodologies and accelerators to improve efficiency
• Stay current on MDG product updates and new features to provide thought leadership to clients
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and proposal development for MDG opportunities

Requirements

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 8+ years of SAP MDG implementation experience across multiple domains (Finance, Materials, Business Partners, etc.)
• 3+ years of team leadership experience managing consultants
• Strong knowledge of MDG architecture, data models, workflows, and integration scenarios
• Experience with MDG cloud edition and hybrid MDG/ERP landscapes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• SAP MDG certification preferred
