Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll become part of a passionate, fast moving team dedicated to solving challenging technical problems, designing engaging gamification experiences, and shaping the foundations to support the collective effort of developers worldwide.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement intuitive, attractive, and engaging user interfaces that captivate developers
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build seamless gamified experiences and interactive coding challenges
- Architect scalable frontend solutions, ensuring maintainability, performance, and reliability as our platform rapidly grows
- Drive frontend best practices, code quality, and mentorship within the engineering team
- Continuously experiment, iterate, and optimize user experiences based on data-driven insights and user feedback
What You Have
- 3+ years of experience building scalable, performant frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Strong proficiency in styling responsive, attractive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS
- Solid understanding of data fetching, state management, and API integration using GraphQL
- Proven ability to architect maintainable, modular frontend codebases and establish best practices
- Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries and frontend design systems
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks and best practices (e.g., Vitest, React Testing Library, MSW)
- Passion for crafting delightful user experiences and attention to detail in UI/UX design
- A proactive mindset, iterating quickly based on user feedback and data-driven insights
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Relay for efficient GraphQL data management and client-side caching
- Familiarity with frontend code generation tools and workflows (e.g., Plop)
- Knowledge of modern CI/CD practices, including automated testing, linting, and deployment pipelines
- Interest in developer tooling and improving engineering productivity
