On behalf of an awesome company we are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the AI/ML and Core Data Platform teams that power our products. You’ll shape the next generation of intelligent, data-driven systems by improving data quality, scalability, and accessibility. This role blends technical leadership, organizational growth, and hands-on guidance in applying emerging AI technologies to real-world business problems.

You’ll lead a talented team of engineers and managers, driving high performance, innovation, and operational excellence across multiple product lines.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and scale engineering teams focused on AI/ML and data platform development, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Provide technical and strategic leadership in the practical application of GenAI, LLMs, and emerging ML/NLP technologies
  • Establish and uphold AI governance standards for fairness, transparency, and privacy compliance
  • Translate advanced AI/ML capabilities into strategic product initiatives that enhance customer experience and deliver measurable value
  • Mentor managers and senior engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture
  • Champion DevOps and observability excellence to ensure reliability and scalability
  • Drive data literacy and modern data management practices across the organization
  • Evaluate and scale emerging technologies such as AI agents, multimodal interfaces, and rapid prototyping tools
  • Define and track metrics for engineering efficiency, product success, and operational excellence


What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years in engineering leadership, including experience managing managers and mentoring high-performing, cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of delivering AI-powered solutions that drive tangible business impact
  • Deep technical expertise in GenAI, LLMs, and modern ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), with hands-on experience integrating LLMs or building prompt-based applications
  • Strong grasp of ethical AI principles and governance best practices
  • Excellent communicator who can simplify complex AI/ML concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Skilled at recruiting, developing, and retaining top technical talent, with a focus on inclusion and growth
  • Experienced in fast-paced, high-growth environments and adept at balancing innovation with operational discipline
