Seasoned Engineering Manager who has:

• 5+ years managing software engineers/engineering teams

• Led teams of roughly 8+ engineers, ideally 8–15

• 10+ years total software engineering experience

• Strong early-stage or high-growth startup background

• Has hired, developed, performance-managed, and made tough people decisions

• Strong servant-leadership / people-management approach

• Comfortable managing senior engineers rather than being a hands-on IC

• Has operated successfully in a fast-moving, fully remote environment

• Strong ownership and bias toward shipping quickly

Strong Plus

Prior experience with:

• AI / ML / LLMs

• Conversational AI

• Voice AI / telephony

• Founder / early employee experience

• Turning individual AI experimentation into measurable engineering-team productivity

What They’ll Be Doing

• Manage and grow an 8–15 person engineering squad

• Own hiring, career development, performance management and headcount planning

• Partner with the broader engineering management team on department decisions

• Drive fast, high-quality delivery and hold the team accountable for outcomes

• Help make the engineering organization AI-native

• Partner closely with Product, Delivery and other cross-functional teams

• Keep engineering focused on customer value and production outcomes
