Here’s how you’ll make a huge impact here – and on your career:
You’ll start with understanding our mission, what we’re trying to accomplish as a company, our culture and values which drive our work.
You’ll dive deep into our tech stack, how our engineering, product, implementation and client success team’s function, to inform how you design, develop and maintain complex integrations with ERPs and accounting systems using web APIs and middleware technologies.
You’ll work with our customers, collaborate internally across a TON of teams (product, customer support, devops, engineering, just to name a few) to deliver implementations and handle escalated support cases. Investigating and solving bugs, then releasing the fix to production is the norm.
Once you’re comfortable with our stack and infrastructure, you’ll support planning, scoping, design and development of product features (quality and maintainability are key here)
Critical R&D to help us continue to design for scale and reliability as we grow (and we’re growing)
And grow! Both yourself and support the growth of others, spurring meaningful discussions around complex and technical issues.
What you’ll bring to the team:
You’ve got a couple years’ experience as a software developer, ideally a background in CS, engineering or mathematics
You’re got a strong knowledge of and familiar with/practice a variety of technologies like C#, Ruby on Rails, React/Node.js, SQL, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.
You don’t shy away from detective work and problem solving (even when the answer isn’t obvious); finding solutions to problems excite you and you’re comfortable with the unknown and ambiguous.
And you don’t shy away from solving our customers problems; that means jumping on calls, interacting with those that are directly using our product, to make sure they’re launched successful
You’re savvy and nimble, quick to catch onto new tech and systems, juggling both the needs of our customers and our products and services.
You’re personable and approachable – after all, working across cross-functional teams, people will be looking to you for your expertise
But you’re able to work independently, heads-down at times, so a strong sense of ownership and accountability is key.
You’re hyper detail-oriented and know the name of your grade 2 class-room goldfish; and juggling multiple tasks and priorities is second nature to you.
