How you will make a huge impact here – and on your career:

    •  Our suite of products continue to grow, you’ll be working closely with Product and Engineering to solve customer problems with elegant design, interaction, intuitive and personable UI and a passion for users and experience. Ultimately a key player both within your product team and a contributor to the design craft and culture 
    • Be part of several strategic initiatives including one to redesign our flagship product, ARC, which we’re calling UX 2.0. And as we move from a house of brands to a branded house, unifying our products and ensure that we maintain not only a consistent but also an awesome and intuitive UX.  
    • We work in several offices across North America (including some offshore teams), where we work closely with our counterparts in Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering. You’ll leverage design-thinking to drive business outcomes, elevate product and users experience and provide a delightful UX 
    • You’ll establish relationships with customers and conduct research into their needs and experiences, working alongside customer success to ensure we are getting the right level of feedback into the product teams to deliver while enhancing our ability to conduct frequent and effective user research 
    • Leverage data and analytics to make faster, smarter design decisions. And use this data to evaluate designs and iterate. Design is both an art and a science  
    • Advocate for our existing and prospective users, be informed about our competitive landscape, and become the go-to expert to help shape the product roadmap. 
    • Manage tools and processes for user research to understand, analyze and respond to user behaviour. Whether to create and manage user personas and scenarios or other cases and bring new ideas for how we can drive these faster and smarter for our users.  
    • And of course, create user journey maps, storyboards, wireframes, and artifacts 


What you'll bring to the team:

    • Several years of experience on a product design team working across the entire product development lifecycle and successfully shipping products including mobile applications.  Understanding of B2B SaaS business models (and/or fintech) is a HUGE plus. 
    • Experience guiding cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Data Analysts, Marketing, etc. from a design POV. Experience with Sketch, Invision, Creative Suite, Heap (we use this here for user analytics) and knowledgeable about HTML, CSS. You can adopt new tools, designs and technology into your work and teach them to others. 
    • Experience collaborating with other designers and marketing to create a cohesive cross-product and brand experience, both leveraging and contributing to a centralized design system (something we're building here) 
    • Able to tailor your design process to the situation, anticipate obstacles to chart a path forward and drive results 
    • A track record of efficiently driving sophisticated projects from planning to launch. 
    • A team player mentality who is able to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with every team. You thrive when you are empowered to help others be successful.  
    • You like working with data and insights. Pair that with your passion for users to generate balanced and thoughtful points of view for design our products and take them to market. 
    • You are organized! Which means you're able to manage highly interdependent, complex projects, and keep various workstreams on track. 
    • You are an empathetic communicator with high emotional intelligence and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience.  
    • You are passionate about technology. You are keen to learn how finance is improved with innovation and are able to explain technical concepts in ways that others can understand.
