With us, you’ll be helping some of the world’s most renowned and ambitious companies build winning cloud platforms. As a User Experience Analyst (Software Quality Analyst) you will be a quality ambassador for the team and serve as eyes of the customer ensuring we exceed the quality expectations of the client. As a core member of our software development team you will be engaged with product managers to ensure quality and experience considerations are included at the outset and with the engineers to ensure it is realized.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with the development team to ensure the software works as intended.
  • Prepare written test plans as part of key delivery milestones
  • Provide written summaries of discovered software defects to allow developer resolution
  • Work closely with the UX designer and Product managers to refine acceptance criteria for user stories
  • Executing manual exploration and validation test ahead of customer delivery
  • Collaborate with software engineers to help them develop automated test coverage based on your written testing plans.

Qualifications:

  • Exploratory software testing – 3+ years of experience
  • Test plan preparation – 3+ years of experience
  • Experience with testing web based software using modern browsers
  • Experience with mobile web application testing
  • Expertise in writing and presenting test plans to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies 
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with Accessibility testing (a11y) and standards
  • Comfort presenting client stakeholders during demo pre-release walk-throughs
  • Familiarity with debugging techniques such as querying logs and using browser developer tools
