Sr Product Manager

What You'll Do:

As a Technical Product Manager, you will spearhead our software projects, ensuring their success through strategic leadership and meticulous planning and execution. Your role includes:

  • Strategic Planning and Roadmapping: You will own the product life cycle, from conception to launch, delivering magical products to our users.

  • Versatile Leadership: You get to wear many hats in this role, adapting to various roles and responsibilities to meet the dynamic needs of the Snap magic team.

  • Sprint Management: Lead weekly sprints, balance the needs of product, sales, and technical teams. Employ data-driven strategies for decision-making and ensure tasks are clearly assigned and executed.

  • Ensuring Operational Excellence: Facilitate daily stand ups to swiftly address project blockers and monitor progress.

  • Communications: Maintain communication with stakeholders to align project goals with company objectives and ensure execution of deliverables.

  • Proactive Issue Resolution: Anticipate and resolve issues proactively, optimizing processes through sprint retrospectives, and leading team expansions.

  • Comprehensive Documentation and Reporting: Oversee project documentation and deliver sprint reports to keep all parties well-informed.

  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive initiatives to refine processes and elevate product quality.

  • Product Launch Coordination: Direct product launches and share customer feedback within the team.

Job requirements

Who You Are:

  • Experienced with 5+ years in product management, preferably in a tech or software engineering environment.

  • Educated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

  • Adept in Agile methodologies with a proven ability to manage essential project metrics.

  • An effective communicator skilled in discussing complex concepts with diverse audiences.

  • Technically proficient and data-savvy, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

  • Experienced with project management tools like Trello.

  • Experienced with making data-driven decisions, ideally with tools like Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and SQL.

  • High degree of attention-to-detail, resourcefulness, and judgment.

  • Experience at a fast-paced, product-oriented startup. 

  • Obsessed with building magical products that users love

 

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with CAD software and electronic circuit design.
