We’re looking to bring on a new Director, Product Design to lead us on the mission to create a network that connects millions of companies and make billing and payment easy for buyers and sellers. Our suite of products continue to grow, and we need a leader to implement and manage the product design process for its flagship product, ARC. You will be leading a team of designers, collaborating with cross-functional product teams, product managers, engineering, marketing, client success and other internal stakeholders and departments. Lead Our Design practice. You will be directly interacting with our clients and will be involved with client interviews and feedback processes. How you will make a huge impact here – and on your career: Responsible for the product design for the ARC web and mobile platforms (the product). Lead a key strategic initiative to redesign the product to provide an engaging, intuitive, and delightful experience. (UX 2.0 - overhaul our flagship product from a design POV, and as we unify our products post-acquisition, ensuring that we maintain an awesome and intuitive UX). Drive the design-centric culture to leverage design-thinking to drive business outcomes, and mentor and grow a team of product designers to their fullest potential. Work in lockstep and partnership with other leaders in engineering, product, and marketing and across Versapay to elevate product experience, define measures of user engagement, and derive and report on related key metrics, which’ll inform whether we are delivering a delightful UX. Establish relationships with clients and conduct research into their needs and experiences. Working alongside customer success to ensure we are getting the right level of feedback into the product teams to deliver, enhancing our ability to conduct frequent and effective user research... Leverage data and analytics to make faster, smarter design decisions. Use this data to evaluate designs and iterate. Design is both an art and a science here Own tools and processes for the execution of user research to understand, analyze and respond to user behavior. Create and manage user personas and scenarios. There are ways we operate today, but flexible and open to change, and you’ll help to drive some of these so we can deliver faster and smarter for our customers. Define design principles as part of a common design system and educate the agile product teams in the application of the principles to product deliverables. Roll up your sleeves and create user journey maps and storyboards, wireframes, and artifacts as applicable to the task at hand. Requirements What you bring to the team: 7-10 years’ experience in designing B2B SAAS products and a track record for delivering results working with cross-functional product teams in an agile framework. Bonus points if you’ve worked in the fintech or accounting/billing/treasury space. Proven experience implementing design systems..... Experience with user research tools.... Pendo, Appcues Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to justify design decisions. Obviously ,an eye for design, but leveraging data, analytics and insights to inform your design decisions.
