Azure Application Administrator

Key Accountabilities and Priorities:
Proving support and guidance on customer's Azure platform, managing the environment;
Provide application level support to improve availability and performance
Have demonstrated experience executing technical tasks in projects of varying complexity
Have experience working with a Managed Services Provider or IT services consulting firm
Moving manual or semi manual processes over to be fully automated;
Shift work and On-call support


Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:
Have significant demonstrated success in client-facing situations
Have an advanced understanding of implementing and supporting Microsoft cloud services, including
any of the following:
Azure Core Platform (Compute, Storage, Networking)
Azure PasS services (Web Apps, Cognitive Services, App Services, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service
Bus)
Azure AD
Azure Automation and CLI
Have a strong understanding of more “traditional” Microsoft products, such as Windows Server,
Windows, IIS, SQL Server, etc.
Have experience with automation and PowerShell scripting
At least 1 year of prior experience as a Tech/Support Engineer
Analytical skills and Troubleshooting skills
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to work 24/7 roster basis shifts

Desired Abilities and/or Skills:
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
Working knowledge of ServiceNow or other ticketing system
Certifications within the Microsoft stack are a plus, but primarily as an avenue to grow our Microsoft
partnership and not as a replacement for technical skills
Exposure to AWS, GCP, and other cloud services is valuable
SharePoint experience is a plus
Outstanding verbal, written communication and listening skills

Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree college degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
