.NET Developer

A service-driven paper and packaging products company, we have grown to become one of Canada’s largest paper manufacturers and a leading producer of packaging products. Our organization employs approximately 1000 people at eight manufacturing plants and four distribution centers

We are looking for a talented developer with experience working with .NET, Delphi and SQL. This position is responsible for maintaining in-house written application and working with others to develop and maintain Databases.

Responsibilities:
·Understand internal client requirements and how they translate in application features
·Responsible for gathering functional requirements, gap analysis, functional specifications, testing, etc.
·Technical project support: implementation, solution testing, UAT and support for customer onboarding.
·Establish strong relationship with corporate teams and site functional teams.
·Collaborate with the IT team to set specifications for new applications
·Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines
·Conduct functional and non-functional testing
·Troubleshoot and debug applications
·Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features
·Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code


Requirements:
·Proven experience as a software engineer or application developer
·A bachelor’s degree in a related field.
·Experience in designing and building applications
· 5 years experience in programming languages such as Delphi or C#
· Experience in web API integration JSON, REST, JWT
· Must have proficiency with SQL scripting and Stored Procedures
· Ability to develop and maintain SSIS packages
· Familiar with SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) and developing Reports
· Familiar with Data Warehousing ETL and Business Intelligence
· Familiar with Web Application development or mobile applications
· Nice to have knowledge of UIPATH RPA
· Experience working with ERP systems
·Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles.
·A team player with excellent communication skills
·Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
·Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities in the areas of order to cash, invoicing, procure to pay, inventory and inventory management, inventory control, planning, warehousing systems, supply chain and distribution
·Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
·Quickly adapts to priority changes
