Our client leading logistics company that is bringing healthcare products to people across Canada. This position provides senior level support to all aspects of the HR function with a focus on talent management, change management and organizational effectiveness. In collaboration with the SVP, Organizational Effectiveness, this position will partner with various levels of management to develop and execute HR strategies aligned to business goals and objectives. As a seasoned and dynamic leader, you will possess sound decision-making and critical thinking ability in your leadership of HR team members.
This role will appeal to a hands-on HR Business Partner.
Team: 3 Direct Reports; 3 indirect. Supporting approximately 400 employees across Canada.
Develops, leads and executes various people strategies, ensuring alignment to the overall business strategy.
Provides change management support in relation to business transformation and reorganization as well as any HR initiatives or annual programs/policies that impact the organization. + Works directly with business owner/sponsors to identify change adoption metrics.
Diagnoses issues and identifies HR implications of business strategy working closely with business leaders to execute on the strategy.
Leads the annual Performance Management process, as well as other higher risk, change projects or programs with significant organizational impact.
Responsible for executing on all aspects of the talent lifecycle and proactively identifies and analyzes talent issues before they impact the business.
Engages stakeholders to take action; facilitates action by partnering with the leaders.
Protects the interests of the company and employees in accordance with company policies and provincial legislation. Minimizes risk.
Supports the annual HR budgeting process
Skills and Experience
University degree and 7+ years of experience as an HR generalist or, an equivalent combination and background across all facets of HR, including Change Management, Transformation, Organization Design and Talent Management.
CHRP or CHRL and a graduate degree in Business or Industrial Relations or in Human Resource Management is an asset.
Deep subject matter expertise in organizational change management and the ability to integrate with business strategy.
Subject matter expertise in all human resources disciplines and the ability to effectively enable communications to all levels of an organization.
Highly effective coaching and relationship management skills.
Strong business and financial acumen.
Working knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce an asset.
Logistics and/or pharmaceutical industry experience an asset
