As a Lead Product Manager, focusing on New Ventures, you'll be working closely with the CEO to validate new ventures and products, including market research and helping to develop MVPs.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the CEO to validate ideas and vet new ventures
- Performing market research
- Working with development teams to build MVPs and POCs for new ventures
- Owning product roadmaps and communicating progress
- Assisting in the management of key initiatives and programs supporting the strategic objectives
- Working with team leads when product decisions are being made and collaborating with clients, designers, engineers, marketing, sales, and other business functions
- Coaching, mentoring and sharing information on a regular basis
- Sharing your knowledge of processes, tools and methodologies to new Product Managers
- Ability to travel as required by client and engagement needs
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering) or Business
- MBA is strongly preferred
- Experience working successfully on an Agile team
- Contributed to the design, development, or project management of software applications
- Experience with project management frameworks, processes, and tools
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to drive consensus and build strong client relationships
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment, assertiveness and leadership
- A flexible, driven, highly-organized and self-starter personality
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative and constantly changing workplace
- Strong commitment to take ownership and make an impact while delivering quality products
- Experience with design and innovation focused client engagements
- Solid understanding of Design Thinking and Lean Startup methodologies
