Senior Account Development Manager

This role is for a company that develops affordable fundraising technology and provides free training and education for charities so that, regardless of size, all charities have the capacity to increase their impact and succeed in the digital age.

Reporting to the General Manager, B2B, the Senior Account Development Manager is accountable for the planning, implementation, and coordination of various communications and sales activities, leveraging earned, owned, and paid channels. This role also leads the internal Account Development team with up
to 5 reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and excellence of the Account Development team through constant engagement, questioning, and ideation.
  • Achieving growth and hitting or exceeding targets by successfully managing the accounts team (Team and Individual Quota).
  • On a daily basis, strategically reach out to charities by phone and other media , meeting them where they are at and helping them on their digital journey, focusing primarily on our core B2B products and an exciting new ‘Software Platform’ (SaaS) product that’s in the incubation stage currently.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic growth plan that expands company’s client base and ensure it’s strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of account representatives
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for sectors; designs, fine tunes and measures the sales process including pipeline & funnel management.
  • Identify opportunities for development within the team and executes plans for filling them
  • Ensuring sales agreements are in place and tracked for bonus payouts and approval processing
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in managing software sales in a business to business environment, with strong understanding of SaaS business model and sales process
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably enterprise software.
  • Have managed a team of Sales or Account Development Representatives
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Successful previous experience as a account manager or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
